Privacy notice

Effective: 22 October 2026

This notice explains which personal data we process on the workingplatform.ro website, for what purpose and for how long, and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

2. What data do we process and why?

2.1 Quote requests and contact

Data: name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, the subject of your enquiry, your message and any other data entered in the form (e.g. location, vehicle type). Purpose: answering your request, preparing an offer, keeping in contact. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) given when sending the form. Retention: 2 years after the last contact; if a contract is concluded, for the periods required by accounting and civil law.

2.2 Newsletter (where available)

Data: name, e-mail address, time of sign-up and confirmation. Purpose: sending newsletters about our products and offers. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), confirmed with a link in a confirmation e-mail. Retention: until you unsubscribe – every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.

2.3 Reviews (where available)

Data: name, company, town, rating, the text of the review, e-mail address (not shown). Purpose: publishing customer reviews. Reviews are published only after approval; we show only the name (or its short form), company, town, rating and text. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Retention: until consent is withdrawn.

2.4 Website security

To protect the forms against robots, your browser solves a short computing task; for this the IP address is stored only in a non-reversible (hashed) form for at most 1 hour. The hosting provider keeps technical server logs (IP address, time, page requested). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) – protecting the website and its visitors. Retention: at most 30 days. We do not use any external captcha service.

3. Cookies

We use only cookies that are necessary for the website to work (e.g. remembering the chosen language). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies or third-party tracking codes. Embedded YouTube videos are loaded (from youtube-nocookie.com) only when you click the play button – YouTube’s (Google’s) own privacy rules then apply.

4. Who has access to the data?

The data are processed by the staff of the controller. As processors we use the website hosting provider and the e-mail service provider. We do not sell your data and do not transfer it outside the EEA. We may disclose data to authorities where required by law.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, object to processing, and request data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Please contact us at the details above; we reply within 30 days.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), Bucharest, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28–30, www.dataprotection.ro, or to go to court.

6. Security

We receive data over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, store it in password-protected systems, and only authorised staff have access to it.
